Created in Loving Memory of Lincoln William
ABOUT
Lincoln William was the son of Brandon & Chelsie Cummings and the little brother of James Thomas. Brandon & Chelsie Cummings lost their infant son in 2019. They along with their family wish to continue the legacy of Lincoln and contribute to our community while supporting other families impacted by pregnancy & infant loss. The need was seen and this extraordinary family found a way to make it happen with the love and support of their friends, family & community.
Love for Lincoln Library provides unique supportive literature for free to bereaved families impacted by loss, particularly Pregnancy & Infant Loss. There is something for everyone of all ages from young children such siblings, to fathers, mother, grandparents, friends etc. If you or a loved one has experienced a loss of a child, an Amazing Angels, Inc. representative would be happy to deliver requested literature to you.
The library does not have a check out system, as there is no timeline for grief, so multiple copies are available and there is no return date. You may keep these items as long as you need them, you can return them, shelf them for a later date or pass them on to others.

"I remember that the hardest thing my husband and I did was to explain to our young daughter was that the babies she had been promised would not be coming to live with us."- Ericka Church
We have an understandable impulse to shield children from painful realities. Infant death is unimaginable, and pregnancy loss can be both abstract and utterly devastating. Children in a family facing this trauma tend to be quite young, and this may compound the impulse to obscure the loss. However, a lack of constructive dialogue from parent to child may come at a cost, no matter how well intended the silence.
